A Celebration of Black Kin Conference - All are welcome to attend -  Register here

April 11-17

Iowa ACEs 360 is a proud sponsor of a new conference during Black Maternal Health Week grounded in reproductive justice and joy for Black people.

Olivia Samples, a holistic doula with Kismet Doula Services, describes the purpose of the conference in this way: "I conceived this idea with the intention of celebrating innate wisdom and uplifting successes in our community. While we recognize disparity, oppression, and violence, we know that the targets of this violence must be the ones to lead us toward solutions. Together, we are creating a space where we can speak for ourselves and to each other about what’s going well and what we need as we continue to cultivate a better Iowa for Black people and families."
