The registration fee of $25 covers all five sessions. ($10 for students and educators.) Attendees 14 and under must be accompanied by a paid adult. All sessions are held in the Des Moines University Student Education Center (SEC) Auditorium at 3300 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50312.

The five-week Mini Med School lecture series runs Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. from February 4 – March 3, 2020. Talks are conducted by Des Moines University faculty and local experts in an accessible style appropriate for all audiences, aged middle school and up. We have many life-long learners attend the sessions and several participants return to this annual event year after year.

One of the sessions will be of particular interest to many of you as it is the Green Bandana program you might have heard about. This session is all about mental health and how we can protect and help those we are close to through this suicide prevention training.
